A New Year always brings plenty of opportunities for growth, renewal - opportunities to reinvent ourselves. Let's seize this moment and use our collective energies and intelligence to create something new, beautiful and wonderful in this New Year, 2016!

Personally, I have committed to learning more about ways that we can harness our individual gifts or talents, come together and utilize them for the betterment of our collective communities, and in so doing, better the world. One of these ideas is known as "Contributionism," and it involves just that. This is about people working together, sharing their unique talents, to find new ways of living more in harmony with the earth, to bring the natural law of abundance back to our lives and communities. Think how freeing this can be- if everyone decided to work together for the betterment of their own community, simply by sharing themselves. The African societal way of being known as "Ubuntu," uses these ideas, to bring communities together, to remind everyone that we are all truly related in our humanity. We are sisters and brothers on this lovely planet, and it is time we started thinking and acting that way more, in a unity of love and service to others.

I have also made a personal choice to forgive everyone- including myself, and yes, this can be the most challenging part of forgiveness, but it is crucial to forgive ourselves before we can forgive anyone else. Forgiveness brings freedom! It does not mean we have to agree with what is being forgiven, it just simply means we are finding a place of "neutrality" about it, with no heavy emotional strings attached to it anymore. When we resent people or situations, we tie up our emotion, a lot of our personal energy, or power, that can be utilized so many more things! Choosing to forgive, let go, frees up that energy, and frees us to be the creative beings we are. So I am practicing forgiveness.

Anti-Aging Secrets of Organic Sandalwood Oil in Natural Skin Care, Part I

Organic Sandalwood is a precious and relatively expensive essential oil, mostly because the East Indian Sandalwood Tree is practically extinct. However, the wood oil's amazing array of beneficial properties certainly justifies its cost. Children are all too often the unwitting victims of poverty, political unrest, civil & natural disasters and disease. Following the earthquake disaster in Haiti in 2010, many, many young children have been orphaned, are alone, abused and have been left to try to survive on their own resources in the streets of Kenscoff, Haiti. Kenscoff is a town in the West Department of Haiti, located in the mountainous country, some 10 KM southeast of the capital of Port-au-Prince.

Paraclets Foundation is a Non-profit, charitable, Christian and Humanitarian-based-Organization Orphanage, that provides education and training in their state-of-the-art facilities to poverty-stricken orphans and underprivileged children, who previously lived  on the streets of Kenscoff and had no access to resources or services, and no family. -"We have taken the responsibility of educating them as per our capabilities. Our organization has achieved measurable success during the years, in providing basic education and life skills training, which is vital to their survival. 

-The organization is committed to reducing poverty (of) orphans in Haiti,  by breaking destructive cycles in exchange (for) new, positive opportunities. With a dedicated management team and a diverse group of volunteers, Paraclets Foundation is determined to establish facilities for housing and hosting, educational and training centers, healthcare and social services, feeding programs, and spiritual and cultural activities.

There are so many ideas on the internet and choices available today for looking fabulous for Halloween, that it may be difficult to decide which look you'd prefer to try.  We've come up with several shown here, that particularly impressed us.
