Organic Evening Primrose Oil- Powerful Benefits in Organic Skin Care

Essential Oil of Organic Evening Primrose is an incredibly healing plant that has a myriad of scientifically-proven healing benefits for all kinds of health complaints, ranging from PMS to HDAD in children and even rheumatoid arthritis.  This wonderful essential oil contains an Omega-6 essential fatty acid, Gamma-linolenic Acid (GLA) that has also been licensed in several countries for the treatment of skin disorders! It is used in organic anti-aging products for treatment of dark circles, wrinkles and age spots, and is highly effective in improving acne skin blemishes and inflammation due to its anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Treatment of Eczema:  In 1982, a prestigious medical journal reported the results of a double-blind crossover study in which 99 patients diagnosed with ectopic eczema, a sore, dry and always itchy rash on the skin, were given high doses of Organic Evening Primrose Oil, and 43% of them reported significant improvement in their symptoms!  A different Scottish study demonstrated that the oil is beneficial to nails that have become dry and brittle.

Treatment of Psoriasis: This essential oil is anti-inflammatory in nature and increases the circulation.  When applied regularly to the psoriasis lesions, it reduces burning and itching.

How to Use: Apply healing Evening Primrose Essential Oil directly to the affected areas on the skin and nails.  Just mix a few drops of the oil with a carrier oil, like almond or olive oil.  You should see significant improvement in these symptoms with regular, daily use.  After 3 or 4 months of regular use, it reduces itching, dryness and eczema peeling of the skin. Organic Evening Primrose essential Oil is an excellent alternative treatment to using steroid creams and topical immunomodulators.

Treatment of Acne: Topical application of Evening Primrose Oil greatly reduces blackheads, pimples and inflammation caused by acne. This is because the oil decreases the amount of sebum in the pores of the skin, which prevents pores clogging and the inflammatory symptoms of acne.  This is largely possible due to the significant anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities also inherent in this essential oil.
